This Privacy Policy describes how MarconAI ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the MarconAI Platform. The Platform is an internal tool and is not open to the general public.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — name, email address, and organisation, provided at sign-up or via Google OAuth
  • Uploaded documents — PDF files and other documents you submit for processing
  • Processed outputs — Excel reports, PDF summaries, and extracted data generated by the Platform
  • Usage data — job history, workflow activity, and timestamps

3. How We Use Your Information

Information is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Authenticating and authorising access to the Platform
  • Processing documents and generating AI-assisted outputs
  • Maintaining workflow history and enabling file downloads
  • Platform administration and support

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to internal operations.

4. AI Processing

Document content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI extraction and generation. By uploading documents, you acknowledge that document text is transmitted to Anthropic's API. Anthropic's data handling is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Do not upload documents containing personally identifiable information of third parties without appropriate authorisation.

5. Data Storage & Retention

All data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the ap-northeast-2 (Seoul) region:

  • User accounts & job history — stored in Amazon DynamoDB
  • Documents & generated files — stored in Amazon S3; download links expire after 1 hour

You may request deletion of your data by contacting us via the contact page.

6. Access Controls

Access to personal data and job outputs is restricted to the account holder and platform administrators. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, AWS IAM access controls, and token-based authentication.

7. Third-Party Services

  • Anthropic Claude — AI text extraction and generation
  • Google OAuth — authentication
  • AWS (S3, DynamoDB, Amplify) — storage and hosting

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data. To exercise these rights, visit our contact page.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
